About me
Anastasia Karadimitri is an investigative journalist and multimedia reporter based in Athens. Her reporting covers topics such as water scarcity, overtourism and urban development, environmental conflicts and ecosystem changes, industrial pollution, and the growing footprint of digital infrastructure and data centers in Greece. She combines investigative journalism, photography, documentary filmmaking, and cross-border environmental reporting, with a strong focus on the human stories behind the climate and environmental crisis. In 2025, her reporting on sustainability received the 3rd Prize at the European EIT Food Journalism Awards for her reportage "A Rural Paradise in the Arid Cyclades". She is also a fellow of the 2026 European Collaborative Journalism Programme (ECJP), organized by Arena for Journalism in Europe and the Alfred Toepfer Stiftung.
